Tour de Camp
On days where we were waiting for our helo out of the field, I found myself playing the long and patient game of one-activity-per-hour. And "activity" ranges between having a snack or playing a game of solitaire to my personal favorite, the Tour de Camp.
Staying in-bounds of our probed camp area, the Tour de Camp is a custom 112.63 m loop (measured by 270 cm avy probe) to be skied as many times as you desire. This Tour de Camp track was created with the goal of completing 50 loops using no poles. :)
The variation I enjoy is switching direction every 10 loops, though some of our field members enjoyed the loop solely in one direction.
It was a great way to play one-activity-per-hour and was quite nice when others took a turn and there was a rhythmic swishing and gliding in the otherwise silent air!
